FAQ
Trenching width and depth
How wide will the trench line be through my yard?
The machines we use are vibrating plows, the blade on these machines will leave a line less than 2 inches wide through your yard. We have photos of the types of vibrating plows we use on our Home page.
How deep will my service line be buried?
We typically bury the service lines anywhere from 6-12 inches deep depending on if you have a sprinkler system and how deep those lines are.
Service line burial procedure.
Do I have to be home for my service line to be buried?
No, unless you have dogs or locked gates and your dogs can't be put in the house for an entire day, or if you have a specific route you would want your line to be buried. All of our work is completed on the outside.
Do I call in locates for my underground utilites to be located?
No, our company calls in locates for all underground utilites to be located prior to our arrival. You will need to be in contact with the locate company if you have access issues so they can gain access into your yard to perform their duties. We give them the number we were provided by the utility company who provides your service.
